A member of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ family is refuting reports that the music mogul suffered a head injury during a brawl with an incarcerated Jamaican kingpin.

Combs was rushed to the hospital last weekendafter he reportedly suffered a head injury. He was treated for a few hours before returning to his cell. Since then, there have been conflicting reports about how he injured his head. Some outlets reported that Combs got into a fight with convicted Jamaican drug lord Christopher “Dudas” Coke. However, in an exclusive statement The Breakfast Club’s Loren LoRosa obtained Thursday, October 15, a family member said Combs wasn’t involved in a fight at all.

The fight reportedly happened last Friday while Combs was outside the Special Housing Unit at FCI Fort Dix for his daily break. He was thrown into solitary confinement following the explosive NBC News report about his luxurious lifestyle. The report forced staff in his unit to tighten security by conducting raids and confiscating contraband phones, which infuriated many inmates, including Dudas. After Combs and Dudas fought, both men were placed in the SHU for two weeks.
