Ashanti and Nelly addressed fans’ misconceptions about who actually changes dirty diapers for their infant son. 

The couple sat down with The Breakfast Club on Wednesday, October 28, to discuss the upcoming season of their Peacock reality series, “Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together.” At one point, DJ Envy asked Nelly if he was changing his son’s Pampers now. The joke referred to a hilarious scene from season one when Nelly refused to change his son KK’s diaper.

“I changed them when I said it, but it just wasn’t a consistent change,” Nelly replied. “It’s like, yo, if the nanny’s within earshot, I’m paying for that.”
